Birthday parties, hen parties, family gatherings, get togethers, remembrances, annniversaries and retreats.

🌺I’m lucky to enjoy many sports. Flexibility and mobility was not a priority for me until recently. After years of running & biking I know I’m never going to be the most flexible or elegant yoga teacher.
Coming from a sporty background means I have experienced many of the difficulties people face in yoga and relaxation. I’ve worked through some and continue to work at others. Step by step.
These are a few photos from February in Bali where I completed the 200 hour ytt. I’ve learnt if we wait for good enough in our own minds, we might never feel ready to do something we want to. Life is not about perfection. We can celebrate progress if it happens. We can also enjoy pursuits without expectation that we will get better. And; if we do, the slower the progress the more rewarding it can be. Remember to love our bodies for the many things you can do already and don’t give yourself a hard time for the things you can’t.
We will be offering more yoga classed to our guests and if you are in the area and would like to come along, send me a message. Our classes encourage and explore freedom of movement where there are infinite possibilities and nothing is wrong. Have a great day☀️ #yoga #activeholiday #oceanblue #yogaholiday #active

I’m to happy say that I passed and am excited I can teach vinyasa and yin yoga, adding to our activity line up from our little hilltop retreat in the Algarve.
We’ll be starting with a morning vinyasa flow and an evening yin class to enjoy the shades of the sky as the sun drops.

🌈 This week we welcome our first holiday guests of 2025. January has been an overwhelming mix of bright blue skies, rainy nights and a few short lived moments as the heavens open and you have little time to shelter. As quickly as the downpour arrives the sun returns to warm and dry her victims.
The water fills the lakes and flows through the rivers to play in the ocean. Armies of yellow clover invade the grasslands tuning the colours for meadow season. The forests feel like jungle and the coast looks like it’s being kissed with a thousand sparkles. It’s time to escape the winter comfort, go outside and feel the start of something amazing 🍀🌺🌈🐾

🧡A grand finale month here at OceanBlue Portugal. We have loved seeing you all on our adventures this year.

We are offering short to mid term rates at our cute and cosy apartments. The best sunrise and sunsets, cosy underfloor heating for chillier nights and an easy 5-10 minute walk to the village and beach.
From December the Algarve sweeps into a long, lazy spring. It’s the best time to explore, walking the coastal paths, getting lost in the old oak forests and drinking sundowners with gloriously, golden sunsets.
