“Good choice of pool side rooms that are immaculate, airy and with far reaching views of the sea”
My wife and I have just spent an amazing week at OceanBlue Oasis. The weather was perfect for us in mid November and we were lucky to get full sun all week! They have created a really wonderful place to stay with a good choice of pool side rooms that are immaculate, airy and with far reaching views of the sea. The local beach is great and there are several more all within hiking distance. To the East are the seaside towns of Luz and Lagos which are both interesting and well worth a visit. We had a hire car so also explored up the West coast where we found lovely old towns, fine restaurants and more beaches. The landscape and sea reminded me of Western Australia. I’m a keen sea fisherman so was interested in getting out on Sean’s 6.9m Cheetah Catamaran. It can be used from Lagos or Sean can trailer it to a slipway in Sagres on the most South Westerly tip of Portugal, this makes it available to use on the East and West coasts depending on the wind and sea conditions….perfect! On my trip we caught several sea bream and large mackerel. The boat is also used for snorkelling and exploring the coast. We are hoping to return some time next year and will try and bring some friends along to share the experience. 10 out of 10.

“I feel fitter, stronger, slimmer and healthier…”
Just to say a huge thank you to Sean, Lucy & Sophia for such an amazing stay in their beautiful hilltop retreat. Five days of “Wildgym”, walking, cycling, swimming and surfing was just what I needed to kick start a much needed fitness regime. Missing those beautiful clearwater beaches, early bootcamp sunrises over the pool (which were fun and tailored to everybody’s individual fitness) and the incredible mountain scenery at Monchique. I feel fitter, stronger, slimmer and healthier…Go, you won’t be disappointed!

I have just spent the most amazing time with Lucy & Sean ….and I am feeling like I am coming home, rested and a healthier and stronger person! The accommodation is lovely, underfloor heating, the beds are very comfortable and it is all new and sparkly, loved it! Very quiet and beautiful location only 10 minutes walk to the stunning sandy beach …with good coffee and custard filo tarts in the local cafe …..I want to go back ASAP!

“***** Idyllique et unique!”
J’ai passé un séjour inoubliable dans le OceanBlue Retreat. C’est un endroit unique géré par un couple jeune et dynamique qui sont souriants, disponibles et accueillants à tout moment. Leur petite fille Sofia (9 ans) ajoute de la bonne humeur et se montre comme sa mère toujours partante pour proposer des activités sur place et autour. J’ai dormi dans l’appartement Lagoona qui dispose de deux chambres avec lit double, une salle de bain moderne et fonctionnelle avec une douche, une petite cuisine ouverte bien équipée (bouilloire, plaques de cuisson, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, grille-pain, vaisselle, etc.) et un grand salon avec une table pour manger et un canapé. L’appartement est très lumineux et on a une belle vitrée avec des grandes porte-fenêtres qui donnent accès à la terrasse. La piscine invite à tout moment à se plonger dedans. Je me suis sentie comme chez moi. La nature autour et le petit village de Burgau avec sa plage magnifique (à 10 minutes à pieds) invitent à de longs promenades. Burgau offre tout dont on a besoin pendant ses vacances.
Je suis heureuse de mon expérience au OceanBlue Retreat, j’ai pu profiter d’une énergie toute particulière sur place qui m’ont permis de recharger mes batteries.
J’ai une seule envie : revenir au plus vite !
